Melbourne Trip
ent to Melbourne on Tuesday. The flight I took was on a 747 'Longreach'. It's probably one of the newest airplane owned by Qantas (can't wait for the A380). It has video screen on each seat, gaming capability, phone and sms (don't ask how much... still curious? how about $US1.90 per SMS sent and received??). The first class bar looks pretty nice too...
I also noticed that behind each handset, there's a little RJ-11 Jack. Perhaps they will roll out internet capability as well?

Too bad it's such a short flight otherwise I would enjoy myself on that plane compared to other aircraft.
Here's what I got for breakfast:
Inspired by www.airlinemeals.net I might post my own picture collections of the food I ate on the plane. This is to show how not-so-cool being a frequent flyer. And of course I will only take the picture if I'm seated in a good position while having enough light (I'm using my XDA mini to take the pics).
I still can't believe Avis charged me $392 for 2 days car rental!! I am fortunate enough that the company cover this expense.

I love that airline food site! I haven't been on a 747, but Darwin and I went on an a 330 (one of Qantas' new Airbus) and the entertainment system was awesome as well.
A380 should be great...!
