Comparing installation in Vista and MacOS

I have spent the past few days installing softwares on my Windows Vista and I can tell you that it's never been a straightforward process. Firstly I really hate that User

Access Control window that keeps popping up. Yes, I know you can disable it, but all the warning that it tells you is more likely to scare the users. Then you have multiple permissions and numerous confirmation buttons.
